Paulina Cazabon & José Luis Gonzáles

Paulina and José Luis are Chilean dancers with 15 years of experience, Salon Tango lovers and with a great passion for teaching. Their current and most influential teachers are Jorge Dispari and Maria del Carmen Romero, with whom they have learned the essence of Salon Tango.

National Champions in Chile and 7th place in the Tango World Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2010. They have begun traveling on regular bases to Europe to share their knowledge and their dance style to international audiences. Lyon, London, Paris, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Helsinki and Naples are some of the cities where they have presented and have developed seminars with great success. His Tango is full of elegance and musicality, and his Milonga full of strength and speed dexterity. The connection in the embrace, the elegance in walking and the use of figures at the service of musical interpretation. All of these build their personal brand when it comes to dancing.

Their pedagogy is characterized by putting in value the bases of the traditional Tango with a fresh look and new technical elements that help students to understand how the body works in the Tango dance. In time, they have developed their own teaching method based on their own learning experiences, always emphasizing connection, containing hug, musicality, walk and personality of each dancer.

In 2014, they received the "Grandes Maestros del Tango en Chile" award (Important Tango Masters in Chile), settled by popular vote award, which has meant a sound recognition to their trajectory as well as to their large years of experience.
