A couple from Buenos Aires, renowned dancers and teachers, now based in Pari , Rodrigo Rufino and Gisela Passi have developped an authentic dance and their own pedagogy to pass on the characteristics of Buenos Aires  traditional tango

Their long lasting partnership  keeps them close as Rodrigo and Gisela have been friends for 20 years and have danced together for 15 years. They have danced and taught tango in France, Spain, germany, Switzerland, Poland,Latvia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, The United States, Lebanon, China, Argentina..

A rare gem in Tango, Rodrigo has been dancing since childhood, and belongs to a golden generation ; very young  he attended the splendid milongas of the nineties, surrounded by milongueros. He was 14 when he did his first exhibition, and 18 when he went on his first professional tour in Japan. Very early he studied the art and technique of Tango with famous maestros and milongueros  such as  Rodolfo Cieri, Pepito Avellaneda, Miguel Angel Zotto, Nito Garcia. After numerous exhibitions in the mythical milongas in Buenos Aires,  (Sunderland, Sin Rumbo, Almagro,  Akarense, Glorias Argentinas, amongst others), and many international shows with his sister Rebeca,  Rodrigo has  started a professional project in Paris, combining his strong tangueras convictions , his experience and personal style with Gisela Passi’s educational and artistic qualities . Gisela discovered Tango with Rodrigo when she was 16, taking classes in her neighborhood in suburban Buenos Aires ; then she only danced socially during her university studies . After her degree, she decided to devote her career to Tango.

Their teaching  has always focused on the popular culture of Tango, its musical culture its values and traditions as both  dance and social phenomenon.

Rodrigo and Gisela dedicate themselves to the tanguera and milonguera passion ; one of their main motivations in teaching is to provide the milonga with good milongueros  .
