Frédérique Bruey

A bridge between TAI CHI and Argentine Tango

Fréderique Bruey started practising Tai Chi Chuan Yang Style in 2004. She attended several weekly courses and every summer an intensive training course was arranged. In 2008 she discovered Argentine Tango and entered  the  fantastic  universe of this dance.

Thanks to her job, she has enjoyed monthly trips to Buenos Aires and has met there a psychologist teaching Tai Chi and Argentine Tango, trained at the Dinzel Institute ; he told her about the similarities between Tai Chi and Argentine Tango.

In 2007 she created an association offering Tai Chi and Tango classes to Parkinson’s patients and people suffering from other neuropathic diseases.

Then the bridge between Tai Chi and Tango revealed itself more clearly day after day, thanks to her classes and her way of dancing.
