Los Milonguitas Sexteto

After three years of playing in the most important milongas and Tango Festivals in Europe, Los Milonguitas have decided to extend their line up for special occasions, such as the 23rd Tango en Tarbes Festival. After their experience in Tarbes in 2019, where the trio presented part of their repertoire with guest musicians, Los Milonguitas has adapted all their music for Tango Sextet.
With dance as their main concern, the group plays almost entirely new compositions, inspired by the sound and styles of the Orquestas Típicas from the Golden Age of Tango.
Founded in Buenos Aires in 2014, Los Milonguitas have elaborated their style in the milongas of Buenos Aires, defining their musical choices in line with the advice of the most prestigious milongueros, dance professors and internationally recognised DJs.

Their first album "Los Milonguitas I", released in February 2017, reflects the color the milongas porteñas, with tandas in style and cortinas.
In April 2019 they released their second album "Rosa y Negro", with new dance compositions with recordings in Orquesta Típica with 12 musicians.
From March 2017, "Los Milonguitas" have toured  in over than 20 countries giving more than 100 concerts.
