Luciano Tobaldi

Luciano Tobaldi (bandoneonist, singer and composer) was born in 1982 in Corral de Bustos, Córdoba (Argentina). He lived his childhood and adolescence in Berabevú, Santa Fe, where he began to dabble in music. He moved to Rosario where he studied bandoneon and professional performances as a singer and self-taught guitarist from 2001 to 2007, when he decided to settle in Buenos Aires and start studying with great teachers (Federico Pereiro: bandoneon, Ariadna Prime: singing). After being part of groups like Facazo, Quinteto negro la boca, Los Nadies and Rascacielos, he teamed up with guitarist Agustín Luna and formed the Luna Tobaldi duo in 2012. With this duo he edits two albums and makes international tours from 2014 to the present, participating in Latin American music and tango festivals in Uruguay, Brazil and Europe. As a bandoneonist he has performed with international artists such as Rubén Rada (Uruguay), Daniel Melingo (Argentina) and Vinicio Capossela (Italy).
As a composer his work "Es la vida" recorded by Ariel Ardit in 2013 in his album "Yo lo canto hoy", also performed by an endless number of tango singers from all over the world.
