Laurent Letassey

Laurent Letassey is a bandoneonist, conductor and saxophone teacher at the Conservatoire d'Hérouville-Saint-Clair. He is also a composer and arranger. Awarded by the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Analysis, Counterpoint and Harmony, he has worked with composer Claude Ballif and maestro Sergiu Célibidache for conducting.
He conducted numerous tango concerts, played bandoneon with orchestra as well as with smaller formations. He has performed in various tango festivals in France and Spain.

He is selected to participate in the 2018 edition of the «World Summit of the Tango» at the Kursaal Theatre of Melilla with Ana Norro, and to «a line of 5 bandoneons» in which appeared the instrument of A.Troilo, to which was paid tribute, under the direction of maestro F.Carbone. He has performed in international tango festivals such as those of Toulouse, Val Cenis or Granada. He has performed in theatres in Spain and France and in international tango festivals such as those ofTolouse (2017), Val Cenis (2019) or Granada (2018 and 2019).
