Tango is communication. Its steps, the improvisation, the emotions, el abrazo between two people, the looks of the cabeceo, its words, its music. Tango is listening. Tango is communication beyond words. Tango is communication when words fail.

I would like to invite you to a meeting where we can discover and reflect together on the possibility that tango offers us to understand and develop our way of communicating. This will be an opportunity to share my experience as described in my book "When words fail", a journey of more than ten years working with tango and human communication, which began in 2010 in Buenos Aires with people without verbal language.

Francesca FEDRIZZI was born in Goritz, Italy. An economist, she moved to Buenos Aires in 2006, where she studied counselling at the Holos San Isidro humanist training centre. A qualified counsellor with a focus on Carl Rogers' Person-Centred Approach, in 2010 she completed her training by becoming a certified Tangotherapist using Dr Federico Trossero's method. Her professional activities now focus on three areas: counsellor, teacher-trainer and tangotherapist.
