Alain Laborde Laborde is a self-taught painter born in Tarbes in 1945.
His work is not limited to the framework of the canvas and the easel. He overflows with it and settles inventor of universe, designer of imaginary.
He is pleased to offer us «fantasmagoric» worlds where poetry reigns.
The tango inspired him a lot and he gives a very original version, very colorful, very cheerful, spatial … frankly iconoclastic.
His paintings at the origin of the posters of several Tarbes Festivals in tango, where dancers, musicians and monuments of the city stretch and fly towards horizons more and more distant … but sunny!
Alain passed away in November 2020.
