Trio Tikismikis

The Tikismikis Trio is the result of the meeting of three musicians on the way to Argentine folk music in ... Toulouse!
This trio offers a musical and poetic repertoire combining chacareras, bailecitos, zambas, gatos... with their Tikismikis sauce! Luciano Gimenez Luna, Chloé Bousquet and Marco Grancelli gathered around their common attachment to the traditional music of North West Argentina (NOA), its landscapes and its poets.
Through their work of arrangement and interpretation, the musicians of the Tikismikis Trio reappropriate a musical repertoire of the NOA mixing themes that have become "standards" of the Argentine «peñas» but also more rare pieces, small treasures from the work of collecting, thus continuing the work of transmitting and transforming this music in France.

*Tikismikis, from «tiquismiquis» Spanish: fussy, fussy. From medieval Latin tichi michi, from tibi, michi: para ti, para mí (for you, for me).

Marco Grancelli: voice, guitar
Chloé Bousquet: violin
Luciano Gimenez: voice, bombo
