Nelly Baron has been specialising in public performance drawing for several years, and is an illustrator, comic book author and art teacher in Bordeaux. Nelly Baron has created several shows incorporating this discipline, seizing on this new mode of expression in the zeitgeist.

Whether at the Opéra de Bordeaux, during a drawing concert at the Tangopostale festival in Toulouse, or during a trio combining singing, music and drawings around the Gerschwin brothers, each time it has been a real revelation for the audience.

Passionate about tango since she was a teenager, it was only natural that she should devote a comic book to it: La Vie est un Tango, published in 2019, whose critical and commercial success has led to several reprints.

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec is one of the artists who inspired and influenced her. Between tango, painting and live drawing, ‘Un tango pour Lautrec’ is the synthesis of her aspirations and skills.
