Lilí Gardes is the lead vocalist, performer, and composer of her electrotango group. It is a new, fresh, and highly personal approach to the genre that appeals to a wide audience of all ages. She has released two albums and four singles of her own songs. Her music breaks the boundaries of genres, fusing tango, pop, Latin rhythms, and electronic bases with original lyrics that re-edit the poetic depth of tango in the present. Her work provokes the audience with performances, poetic interventions, and visual and costume design.
She has performed at important festivals in Argentina and Uruguay: she was a featured artist at the Buenos Aires Tango Festival (2021 and 2022) and participated at the Electrotango Buenos Aires 2022 and 2023, the Tango Vivo Festival in Montevideo (Uruguay) 2018 and 2019, the Pehuajó Tango Festival 2022, and the Gran Milonga Nacional de Av. Mayo, among others. In addition, she has presented in prominent spaces such as Torquato Tasso, La Viruta Tango Club, the Centro Cultural de la Cooperación, La Catedral, Galpón B, among others, and has shared the stage with the most recognized groups of the genre such as  Tanghetto, Otros Aires, and Narcotango, in addition to being a guest singer of San Telmo Lounge.
She has also collaborated with new emerging artists such as Nahuel Santos and is currently expanding her musical horizons in the field of world music.
