HUGO SATORRE
Born in Buenos Aires in July 1977, he began his musical studies at the Juan José Castro Conservatory and continued them with some of the most prestigious bandoneonists of today. He has shared the stage with maestros such as Leopoldo Federico, Emilio Balcarce and José Libertella. He holds a degree in Argentine Music from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín.
Hugo Satorre has performed in the most prestigious concert halls and theatres on five continents. These include the Sydney Opera House (Sydney), The Esplanade (Singapore), Walt Disney Hall (Los Angeles), Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires), The Arts Center (Melbourne) and Shanghai Oriental Art Center (Shanghai). In March 2012, he accompanied tenor Plácido Domingo in a concert on Avenida 9 de Julio in front of more than 120,000 people.
In 2016 he released his first solo work. Subsequently, he formed the Ramírez-Satorre Duo with Adrián Ramírez, with which he was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2013. He has also participated in numerous projects of different musical styles, such as Otros Aires, Orquesta Victoria, La Tubatango, Tanguetto and the show. ‘Tango Fire’.
