MUJERES is more than a group: it is a movement. With exclusively female composers, arrangers and performers, the group aims to rectify historical imbalances and empower women in the world of tango.

A musical journey

With two acclaimed albums, MUJERES I and II, and an instrumental EP, the group has captivated audiences around the world. Their music, available on major digital platforms, seamlessly blends traditional tango elements with modern influences, creating a unique and captivating sound.

A global impact

MUJERES has performed at prestigious venues in Buenos Aires, such as the CCK, Bebop Club, Teatro Picadero, Teatro 25 de Mayo, Munro Cultural Centre, German Embassy in Buenos Aires, Salón Canning, Transfeminist Festival, Mujercitas Festival, Garufa Festival, and Festival de la Fe y la Historia.

They have also performed at international events, such as the Bardentreffen 2025 World Music Festival, the Hamburg Winter Festival, the French Autumn Tango Festival and at renowned milongas in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and Italy.

Beyond their live performances, the group is committed to promoting gender equality in the tango community, advocating for greater female representation in milongas, on stage and in the media.
