Silvana Núñez is an Argentine Tango dancer, teacher and choreographer with over 25 years of professional experience dedicated to dance, movement research and comprehensive dancer training.

She specializes in physical conditioning for dancers and is the creator of Tango Pilates, a body training method designed to deepen body awareness and strengthen tango-specific musculature.

Tango Pilates integrates Pilates principles with the biomechanics and dynamics of Argentine Tango, focusing on axis, walking, spirals, dissociation, stability, musicality and injury prevention.

With more than 25 years of international career, Silvana Núñez has served as a judge since 2003 in national and international tango championships. In 2025, she was Substitute Judge in the FINAL of Stage Tango at the Buenos Aires Tango Festival and World Championship.

 

She has been part of iconic tango companies, toured the five continents, and is the creator of Vicentana, an Argentine handcrafted tango shoe brand and Official Sponsor of the Tango World Championship 2025.
