emanuela PERRUPATO
After completing a Master’s degree in Psychology and Music Therapy at the University of Rome, she devoted herself to the art of singing in search of her own vocal identity.
With a passion for world music, she has collaborated on numerous musical projects spanning different cultures: African, Brazilian, Latin American, Balkan and Arab-Andalusian.
In France, she joined the jazz and improvised music classes at the Tarbes Conservatoire.
Trained in various dance styles, from ethnic to contemporary, she has taken part in several street art festivals with dance-theatre performances where speech and song blend with movement.
A singer-songwriter, she is currently a singer in the polyphonic and percussion group CHET NUNETA and in several world music groups; she is also a storyteller in the musical theatre production LA LÉGENDE DE COLAPESCE, produced by the MOMATIQUE Company.
A performer of Argentine tango since 2015, she performs in a duo with pianist Anne Mascetti and in the show LES CHANTS DE L'ÂME, which was staged at the Tarbes en Tango festival in 2024. With a keen eye for sung poetry and drawing on her Italian roots, she offers a spellbinding and highly personal interpretation of tango.
A self-taught musician, eternal traveller and lifelong food lover, she continues her artistic exploration by delving into the myriad expressions of the voice and the body: language, rhythm, the MUSICALITY
