Explore energy, space and musical dynamics

Give dancers the autonomy they need to decide how to manage their energy, allowing them to create their own dynamics and find their own voice in musical interpretation.

This seminar is designed for dancers who wish to go beyond step structures and deepen the quality of their movement. The aim is to provide them with physical tools so that the body becomes a true reflection of what is happening in the music.

The seminar is divided into four modules that focus directly on the concept of perception itself:

Module 1 - The reactive body: managing energy and rhythm

This module focuses on physical preparation for rhythmic response.

We will work on the connection between intention and the floor.

Tone and reaction: how to adjust muscle tone to move from calm to immediate action.

Weight dynamics: using support to generate speed and precision without losing stability.

Accents: managing explosive energy to clearly mark the pulse.

Module 2 - The Density of Silence: Suspension and Breathing

We will explore the control of slow movement and the creation of an atmosphere of controlled tension through suspension.

Tempo control: how to slow down movement without interrupting the flow of energy.

Breathing as a motor: using the breathing cycle to expand movement and find balance in suspension.

Elasticity: the ability to stretch time between steps.

Module 3 - Infinite movement: flow and melody

We will focus on the ability to connect movements to interpret melodic lines, seeking a dance without interruptions.

Continuity: techniques for achieving a circular and fluid aesthetic.

Space management: how to project movement into space in an organic way.

Body legato: weight transfer as a constant line of energy.

Module 4 - Musical architecture: rhythm, melody and pause

An integration module where we will learn to dissociate and choose which musical element we want to express at each moment.

The expressive pause: understanding the pause not as a stop, but as a moment of maximum intensity and communication with the partner.
