Synchronie N°6 ou les rivières du hasard
Christina CLECH
On the train to Paris on the first day of spring, Malena, an Argentine tango dancer, flips through the pages of a newspaper left on the seat next to her. What a surprise to discover an article with a magnificent photo of Lucien Hervé, strangely echoing the purpose of her journey and showing the precise location of her appointment for the following day. An article like an invitation card, an event arising from the improbable, a new time after many others...
This is the book of a question, of an enigma, one that fits in with the aesthetics of coincidences as they unfold, the ‘synchronicities’ of a life. Following in the footsteps of a modern-day Cinderella, Malena's sensual novel about dance, love and the art of perfume in the Grasse region explores the chaotic evolution of a passion for feelings that raises questions about the paths to freedom.
The heroine's professional career in the field of research will also lead her to compare - far from any belief - the improbability of coincidences and the rationality of science. And like a little music of the strange, the author, via a few interludes, gives us the testimony of authentic synchronicities.
Christina Clech has a doctorate in Occupational Psychology. Before becoming a researcher at the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès, she worked in the field of social action, consulting and vocational training. She is also an Argentine tango dancer. Synchronie N°6 ou Les rivières du hasard is her first novel.
