Mirella & Carlos Santos David are partners both on the dance floor and in life. They have been together for 15 years and have been happily married for 10 years. The couple is known and loved for their elegance, subtlety and musical finesse as well as their spectacular and breathtaking shows. They inspire tango lovers around the world with their natural, humorous and well-structured way of teaching. 

The joint career starts for Mirella and Carlos in 2011 when they decide to work together and their journey has been marked by a deep commitment to growth. They are grateful to have represented the Netherlands in the Finals of the Buenos Aires World Championships seven times, beginning in 2016. In Europe, they have been fortunate to earn titles such as the European Tango Champions Tango Escenario in 2025 and European Tango Champions Tango de Piste in 2017. 

Beyond competitions, they are active performers and teachers, having shared the stage with artists like Andrea Bocelli and appearing on national television several times. They feel privileged to have taught and performed in numerous countries, including Korea, Tahiti, Brazil, Guadeloupe, Argentina, Germany, Denmark, Romania, Spain, Belgium, France and many more. Based in the Netherlands, they continue to travel worldwide, dedicated to sharing their passion for tango through workshops and performances.
