TU ABRAZO

A show choreographed and directed by Eva Laura Madar, co-written with Lola Jeanne Cloquell, under the musical direction of Chloé Pfeiffer.

A creation brought to life by three women. Together, they have forged a fundamental link between several arts with mixed cultures: dance, music and slam.

Tu Abrazo fully expresses the inextricable connection between music and dance in the world of tango. One cannot exist without the other. The bodies and the orchestral space become one, symbolising the unbreakable bond between the instruments and the dancers, between visceral intimacy and compromise.

On stage, a milonga begins. The past, present and future revel around the dancers, until the arrival of a stranger.  It is the encounter between two beings, from ecstasy to heartbreak.

The show is also the result of an encounter between two continents with mixed cultures. On stage, Lola, a poet from Martinique, slams her incredible texts. A successful alliance in a tango show that beautifully illustrates a parable about meeting others and the paths in life that this leads to.
