Sofia Saborido &  Dario Da Silva

Long-time colleagues and friends, Sofia and Dario decided in 2026 to begin collaborating as a dance couple, combining their experience and shared vision of the art of tango. Their natural rapport led them to develop a shared artistic endeavour.

Dario Da Silva,

a master and artist of Argentine tango, was born in Rosario, the birthplace of tango. He discovered this dance at the age of 14 and quickly embarked on a professional career. Dancer, choreographer and bandoneon player, he has performed in Argentina, the United States, Europe and Asia at numerous international festivals and shows.

Much of his career has been built in partnership with Claire Vivo. Together, they have developed a strong artistic identity and a teaching method renowned for its consistency, musicality and effectiveness, which they share around the world.

Over the years, Dario has also shared the stage with renowned dancers such as Verónica Palacios, Sigrid Van Tilbeurgh, Antonella Terrazas, Moira Castellano, Sylvia Gerbi, Chantal Fernandez Crea and Andrea Ballesteros.

Rooted in tradition while remaining resolutely contemporary, his tango is distinguished by high musical standards, a constant search for quality of connection and a confident freedom of expression.

A renowned teacher, Dario offers clear, structured and lively instruction, emphasising listening, precision of movement and authenticity in the connection between partners.

Sofia Saborido

from Buenos Aires is a delicate and intense dancer, a jewel of the new generation of dancers. With her high-quality movement and musical richness, she builds her dance on a refined and sensitive connection.

Highly appreciated for her teaching skills, she has been teaching since 2006 throughout Europe at workshops, seminars and tango festivals, as well as in the United States, Asia, Russia and Oceania. Much of her career has been built in partnership with Pablo Inza.

The great-granddaughter of Enrique Saborido (dancer, musician and composer of famous tangos such as La Morocha and Felicia, among others), Sofia discovered tango at the age of 10. At 12, she joined the young tango ballet company "La Plata". In 2000, she performed as a dancer in the dinner show "La Cumparsita" and on Sundays in the show at Plaza Dorrego in Buenos Aires.

In 2006, she won fourth place at the tango championships in Buenos Aires. Between 2009 and 2010, she participated as a dancer in the French show "Tango Argentique" presented at the Avignon Theatre Festival.
