Daniel Godfrid

Renowned Argentine pianist and composer. Since 2004, he has worked alongside Lidia Borda as an arranger, producer, and performer. He has collaborated with her on five albums (two Gardel Awards) and a duo EP called TRIP. He was part of the Orquesta Escuela de Tango under the direction of maestro Emilio Balcarce. He collaborated with harmonica player Franco Luciani in a duo with whom he recorded the album Armónica y tango (2006), and later joined the Franco Luciani Trio (2012). With a long and varied career in the world of tango, he has made numerous national and international appearances as a soloist and also with orchestras and prominent artists from the Argentine tango and folk music scene. He has composed music for films and is also a renowned piano teacher at the main conservatories in the city and province of Buenos Aires.
