The Típica Folklórica, directed by Alfonso Pacín, is composed of musicians from different backgrounds but with the same common interest in folk music. She revisits and updates ancient folklore by opening herself to new musical syntaxes (jazz and other contemporary South American music). This is how Argentine folklore continues to evolve and to provide a creative and experimental ground to contemporary musicians.
